What a fun day!

So today was Bullfrog's science day. It has been a rough month for science as his teacher at Science City is on vacation until next Thursday. So, today I decided that since I was wanting brownies, we would combine math and science and have him make a box of brownies. The only thing I did was check the mixing to make sure it was complete and pour the oil and water into the measuring cup. He told me when to stop though and he poured it in. It is a DELICIOUS batch of brownies!


Today was also the day to figure out how much work it would take to deposit a less than $20 check made out to my maiden name in the bank. The people on the phone told me I would have to show proof of my name change. That occurred a little under 7 years and 4 months ago! Are you kidding me? We have moved THREE times since then. I know my marriage license is in the storage unit but I have NO idea which box it is in! Good grief. So, I went to the bank with the envelope that had my married name on it with my address, and my parents name on the return address (shows my maiden name). I talked to them and they were like, well do you want it cashed or deposited and how much is it for. I was like it is less than $20 and I just want it deposited. They agreed after about a 10 min deliberation with the boss. Sheesh. I told him as he was putting it in the bank that if it would make him feel better, I would call my mother and she can tell him that she wrote the check too early in the morning. What chaos. I couldn't believe the hoops ... but at the same time, I know that my maiden name is safe! lol

Tonight is work and I do believe I get to work with my friend, Sarah, for the next 4 nights. YAY!! I like working with all the overnight peeps but Sarah is my best friend at work. She also, so awesomely, came over on Tuesday to watch my kids so I didn't have to take them with me to the dr. That would have stunk.

So, my camera is dead and tomorrow I have the cousins coming to see Peanut & Bullfrog. Mainly Bullfrog. We are making a cake for Jesse since his birthday is Saturday. Jesse is 2 months and 5 days older than Bullfrog. Yes, they are close in age AND close in friendship. They don't even live in the same city but they LOVE getting together. I will try to take a few pics with my phone but no promises. *sigh* I am REALLY bummed about this camera issue. There is a person selling their camera for $45, so I am trying to see if my check tomorrow will be good enough to get it. I am hoping since I THINK I have holiday pay on it.
