4-H Meeting

Tonight was our September meeting for the Oxford Hustler's 4-H Club. Due to having a little cushion in the bank for the club, we opted to have our meeting out in the fresh air. We went to Shawnee Mission Park despite the misting and let the kids fish. They both caught SMALL fish and then had to have someone else release them because neither would take the fish off the hook. They had a great time though. After a little fishing, it was dinner time. We had hot dogs and hamburgers from the grill and then everyone brought 2 items. We brought 2 desserts cause that is what I do best. :) We then held the meeting with the adults in the office the kids will be doing next year. Peanut is 1 of the 2 club photographers so that is what I got to do tonight. They also did the initiation of officers so the last picture posted on this blog is Peanut getting a candy bar. I don't remember what the line was that was used for her office but I thought it was cute non-the-less. It was a late night for the kidlets but loads of fun. Next month Peanut has a presentation so that is going to be "fun."
