Construction Day

Well, today Peanut got to go to her BFF's because she was feeling better. She still has a cough but it is actually productive now and has no seal sound to it. She also doesn't complain of a sore throat either so I opted to let her have some fun. Bullfrog was freaking out about what he was going to get to do while Peanut was gone and I told him he would have a great time. After Peanut left, I told him that he would be using his new Real Construction kit he got for Christmas from his grandparents and having a day with daddy.

He was SO excited. He ended up making a fighter jet. The kit is awesome as it has plastic tools that actually cut, hammer, etc. The wood is foam so it is safe to work with and doesn't make a mess. The best part about this kit, is the fact that they sell everything for refills and larger kits at Toys R Us. Jeremy and I have already decided that we will be buying more wood, screws and tool kits. They even have a tool belt! Bullfrog was just SO excited that he could build things and we were excited that it was safe and mess free. While Bullfrog built his fighter jet, I took a nap and then made homemade pizza rolls for the freezer. :) Today, overall, was a HUGE score for everyone. It would have been just that much better had we remembered to set alarms to make it to church on time. Big whoops!
