Today was SO much better

Well, to our delight (and surprise) our one time threat to Liberty Tax and our 10 hour fight with the whole process, our money was deposited this morning! YAY. We had a LOT of unfinished business to tend to and we started that process today. I was running errands and paying bills from 10:45am to 5pm. My body is SPENT tonight but I feel GREAT.


We got Peanut her birthday present a couple weeks early and she is chomping at the bit to play with it. She has to wait until Sunday afternoon though. So what is it? It is the Brother LX-3125e. I like it because it is a base sewing machine, which is good for her to start on, but it also has several built in stitches. We went ahead and got the 1 year warranty on it as well just to be safe. She was SO excited to see her gift that she was literally knocked speechless. We also bought her some snow boots. CLEARANCE!!! We went to like 4 places before finding some and the ones we found were the LAST ones in her size! They were purple and she was so happy she couldn't sit still for hours. If I had let her go to bed in her boots she would have been happy. LOL

Then I turned attention to ME. It was just finally time for me to get me two things that I have been wanting (one for a long time and the other just for the past month or two) and it really made my day. The first was a diaper bag. I LOVE it. Bullfrog helped pick it out. He has such GREAT taste! The second was a haircut. I got a shoulder length bob with sloping sides. I will post pictures of my hair sometime this weekend as I want to style it how I love to have my hair done. I love how it turned out though and wore my hair down for most of the day for the first time in a LONG time! However, what do you think of my new diaper bag? (in LOVE - way to go Bullfrog)
