"Snowmaggedon"

Well, they predicted it and talked it up for DAYS. Our city started pre-treating roads starting Sunday night in preparation for the storm. Then when I woke this morning .... nothing but a dusting. Really?! I laughed .... quite hard. I was still getting the warnings and the alerts from the NWS but was having a hard time believing we were still under a warning.



Then 9:30am hit and the snow starting coming down. By 10:30, we had a good layering start. Then by 11:30 the blizzard hit. Visibility was about 1/4 mile and dropping. Snow began to pile up and it was still coming down. As I type, it is STILL snowing ... 12 hours AFTER the storm started. They say we have another 2 1/2 hours of snow to go and possibly another 2" out of it. At last check, we were just over 11". Amazing! The more amazing part than the amount we have gotten ... my husband's company called a snow day ... first time in 25 year history! Just insane. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. :)
