TGIF!

This is one week that I am SO happy for Friday. It has been a hard week with many ups and downs. Between hunting down shorted vacation pay to suddenly securing a lot of work for Birdcage Media, this week has just left me mentally exhausted.


Our kids have been invited to go on a trip in March and we are beginning the preparations for fundraising for them. It will be a situation where, the most money we can raise is ideal. I am doing some Christmas ornaments for the kids to sell at a craft show in Manhattan, and the kids will be doing bake sales using their wonderful 4-H experiences. I believe Peanut and I are going to advertise that we will sew patches on for boy and girl scouts. The kids are so very excited that they are going through items to sell in a yard sale!

Last night I got to go to a preview party for the Renn Fest with a friend. I cannot WAIT for the 29th of September when I will take the kids. I am hoping that I will be able to dress up, but just not sure if it will work out or not. My friend is having her wedding there and I have been counting down the days since LAST.YEAR! Best part, it is chocolate weekend. Yeah, this pregnant mama will be 30 weeks and will be one happy mama.

We are doing final preparations to start school on Monday. The kids TECHNICALLY eased into school this week with starting a computer class. Microsoft is sponsoring the class at their new store in Oak Park Mall. They are learning how to use different parts of Microsoft Office and could not be happier.
