In her defense, well ... my defense, she has thought I am an idiot from the very beginning. I cannot count the number of times we have gotten that "what is WRONG with you" look ... or the "I thought we have been over this" look.
Yesterday, it was the "you are an idiot" look. Twice!
First time -
Monkey - mommy, Turtle poopy.
Me - Monkey, honey, I literally JUST changed Turtle. She isn't poopy.
Monkey - um, mommy, Turtle poooopy.
Me - *sigh* no, Monkey, I am not just going to change diapers today.
Monkey - ok.
5 minutes later
Monkey - mommy, I poopy!
Me - *look over at Turtle playing on the floor - poop up her back* Lovely, Monkey, let me take care of Turtle first.
Monkey - SEE, Turtle poopy. I poopy.
Me - *taking care of Turtle and scrubbing carpet* Just a sec, Monkey and I will check your diaper.
Monkey - no mommy, Turtle poopy on my leg.

Second time -
Monkey - *hands me my new headphones* mommy! your ears!
Me - Thank you, Monkey. *put them on my head*
Monkey - *picking up the end that plugs into the jack* mommy, broken. *proceeds to plug it into the computer* I fix it all by my, my self
Me - Thank you, Monkey.
Monkey - *looking at me like an idiot* No, mommy! *bobs head side to side*
Me - *pretend to be dancing to music*
Monkey - *walks off and I am SURE she had the face of "that was WAY too much work"*
