Out of the mouth of babes!

My children were treated to a visit with their grandparents this weekend. It was great for everyone. They got to goof off and go see the Christmas Cantata at Lenexa Baptist, while we spent one on one time with Turtle. We snuck in a date night (with Turtle for entertainment) and we re-installed a broken baby gate. Turtle just had a BLAST being an only child for a few hours, but it was CLEAR this morning she was quite excited to see that while she slept, her Monkey came home.


Monkey has been pretty tired today even though she napped yesterday, she apparently had TOO much fun with the grandparents. I mean, she was with HER Momo and Pepa.

However, this afternoon, Bullfrog got to go back with my parents to see Peanut's last Allegro Concert of this year, the Winter Blessing (link is for last year's concert - stay tuned for this year's). Jeremy and I were under the weather so we are waiting for the YouTube videos to come out.

Anyway, when asked if he (Bullfrog) had fun, he said, um ... yes. Then he looked at us with the straightest of faces and said:
"I like spending time with grandma. She spoils me. That is her job."

Man they grew up fast ... didn't they?!
