The Day it Rained Marshmallows

Yesterday's journal was a LOT of fun to do. It was, "Write a short story about the day it rained marshmallows." The kids had a great time. I told them to think about it because I was going to blog their stories. Enjoy!

Peanut -
On Feb 28, 2003, I, *Peanut*, was going to enter the world for the first time ever. Everyone hoped something magical would happen, so I would enjoy my first time on Earth. No one knew their magical wish was a marshmallow storm. So we were at the hospital, leaving to go home. Then, out of the blue, marshmallows were falling out of the sky! News were blaring! The kids loved it. Then, it stopped and never happened again. No one knew how or what had happened, but no one forgot that special day.

Bullfrog -
One nice day, a scientist wanted rain. The scientist called the weatherman and asked for rain. The weatherman sent out a tornado watch and everybody got ready. Somebody left bags of marshmallows at camp open and the tornado picked them up. The next day, some people saw Columbus clouds. It rained, but not water! It rained ... MARSHMALLOWS! The scientist was happy.
