*I was compensated for this post, however, my opinions are my own. No one is the boss of me!*
It is time yet again for the App of the Week. If you are just now following, you can read more about the series on my introduction post.
This week I get the opportunity to talk about one of my favorite apps. It is available on the Android (obviously since I love it) and the iOS system ... don't let the name fool you! iStoryTime is a great app for children who love to be read to or read on their own.
This app offers four free books with the download and then you can get a monthly subscription to access premium books. My kids do not currently use it enough for the premium content, but when they do, we will use it. You can save the media onto your SD Card so you will not lose your books.
There are new books published every two weeks and the entire app is interactive. You will be able to see the new books as soon as they are published, so you do not have to remember to check the store or iTunes for new books.
If there is something specific you are looking for, feel free to contact them on their Facebook page.
However, the offer range from toddler books to kindergarten. There are fairy tales and picture books for everyone to enjoy. They even offer some books in Spanish, such as Cenicienta (Cinderella). There are animal books, educational books, and many others.
If you are looking for books that your child can have read to them, and transition to them reading for themselves, you can download it on iTunes or the Android market. This is one app I STRONGLY recommend for parents who let their youngsters have technology for quiet time. My Monkey LOVES it.
Stay tuned for our App of the Week next week!
