*Note, I was compensated for this post with free products and promotional samples to share & use as I see fit. However, much of this play date was purchased by me to show that even children with allergies can play outdoors*
So, what do you do when you have two age divisions coming over for a playdate? You set up two different play areas of course. Much to my children's dismay, I am not turning them loose with water guns, water balloons, bubbles, and chalk. I can't wait to take pictures for y'all to see how it went over.
Water Balloon Toss
We will have an area that is set up for water balloon toss. However, instead of having them face each other, the person who has the balloon will have to turn around and then toss the balloon over their head. The person catching will then need to catch the balloon (hopefully) in their shirt.
*I am making over 150 water balloons*
KC Corral
I plan on having two versions of the KC Corral. The first is shooting cups off the patio fence with a water gun, and the next is having two people just shoot at each other. Obviously the second part of the KC Corral will be AFTER the rest of the party since they will want to just get wet.
Youth Outdoor Art
We will be having some younger kids and I want to make sure they have a chance to be part of the action. We have bubbles and sidewalk chalk for them to color and have fun. I am going to let them spray their chalk drawing with water to see what happens.
We have made some cupcakes and bundt cakes that we have decorated in a colorful fashion for the kids to snack on before going home. We are looking forward to a great time and I can't wait to update this with photographs from the party!!
