Review of a company that "rose" to the challenge

It isn't very often that I get to give myself flowers. I have NEVER gotten flowers in the mail. The last time I was given flowers and wasn't at home was when my sister sent me flowers for my 16th birthday. I received them at school and I was so excited. I was approached by an online company to review their roses and I was intrigued. It is the dead of summer and I wondered what flowers really looked like when you first received them.

When I was originally approached by this company, I was a little leery. Before I accept an offer from a company, I do research it. I want to make sure it will fit with my blog and that it is a company with positive reviews. What I found was pretty mixed. So ... I decided to take the gamble and see how it worked for me.

I am a woman and I LOVE flowers. We don't get them very often because they don't live very long and they aren't the cheapest thing ever. Jeremy shows his love in other ways, which is perfectly fine with me (although I do occasionally like having a good bouquet on my table). I think that flowers can be a great way to show emotions when you aren't sure what to say.

Confetti - 2 dozen
The Bouqs Company is located in Marina Del Rey, CA and they have two flower collections. The California collection is cut from the farms in California and start at $50. The Volcano collection come from the volcano that is 10,000 feet above sea level in South America. They claim your flowers will be brighter and they do not cut them until you order. Your bouquet will arrive within five days after cutting. You are given flower food and instructions on how to display the flowers for the longest life.

I was given a small selection of flowers to choose from and honestly, I had a real hard time deciding! I settled on confetti because it made me happy every time I looked at the picture. I was given a code that allowed me to get a dozen roses free, so I knew it wouldn't be a bountiful as the photo. Honestly, I was worried that it would end up letting me down because it wasn't as many flowers. I was more than surprised.

The flowers looked beautiful and SMELLED awesome. Oh, the scents that filled my ENTIRE house. I can't say that I have ever bought flowers that added a beautiful fragrance that filled a large room. I followed the instructions that were on the box and a card inside.

I gave them a few days to come into full bloom.

It has been a week and they are still in bloom. I have only 2 of them starting to wilt. Overall, I am ecstatic and I would definitely order from them again. In fact, I already know which bouquet I would get!

Big Sur-ge
One of my favorite aspects of the company, Bouqs, is their concierge service. You can fill in your calendar with special occasion dates and they will remind you to send flowers. They also offer you the ability to have flowers arrive on a regular basis and you can cancel at any time without a fee.

I am now tempted to order from another online flower company to compare the two because I was very pleased with the price and expediency I received the flowers.
