Trip Blog (Day 4)

Well, Sunday was the day I planned on going home so there isn't much to this day. We went to church and I decided we would attempt to make it to Sunday School and we did. I thought the kids would enjoy it. After that, it was time for main service and everything was going smooth until the offeratory prayer and Tami & I heard a whole bunch of thunks and thuds. We found out later it was the man who was frying the fish for the fish fry after church (that we weren't going to) slipped on the stairs and fell. He ended up breaking his leg in 3 locations. Ouch! We went to Sirloin Stockade since Tami doesn't like fish at all. We let the kids then ride their bikes for awhile while I went up to the fair grounds to get Mema registered in the 4-H alumni booklet (oh yeah, I did that on Friday too. lol) and then I finished loading up the van, minus the bikes. It was only a few minutes more though before the kids just became too hot and were ready to go.

I got home in plenty of time to rest, cook dinner (which I didn't but I did have time), and go to work. I am very relaxed and thankful that I got the trip in. Now, time to plan for the JoCo Fair!
