Entertaining May

So I got my tax return and we got a lot of things done that needed to be done and bills paid that needed to be paid. But everyone needs to get something fun with their tax return because you have worked hard for that money. So with only $160 of it, we are doing 2 fun things. May 2nd we are going to see The Killers at Sandstone (yes it is Sandstone again) and then May 22nd we are going to see Buzz Under the Stars. The headliner for that one is Offspring but The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio, and Anberlin will also be there. I am stoked.



Of course this means I am taking off a lot in May. Then I find out that my older sister is going to be in Manhattan in May. I am not sure that my boss will let me have another weekend off. Major bummer. It seems EVERY time she comes to Manhattan (unless it is a holiday) I can't go down. Oh well, maybe she will have time to sneek a trip up to KC to see me. :)

I was supposed to take CERT training tomorrow and then the next 2 following Saturdays but we might get up to a foot of snow tomorrow and they aren't planning on cancelling or postponing. So I dropped out. I am not about to drive all the way to southern Olathe in a foot of snow. No way, no how.

So I will try to update my calendar tomorrow on google so it is correct on this page but I have a ton of laundry to fold and put away as well. I figure that a snowy day means we should be able to get stuff done in the house, right? lol

Oh, I now have T-Mobile so I have a lot more range on my phone. However, it now COSTS to have unlimited texts but I live on texting so do what you gotta do right? :)
