The plan is underway

Well, my sister bought a house and is renovating it, my assistant manager bought a house and is renovating it ... I can't afford a house and love my happy little apartment, so ... I'm renovating it! I have from 8am to noon M, T, W, F. I am buying a pool for my patio allowing me to have all day on Thursdays to do work. Then I will have every other Saturday as the other Saturdays we go to the roller rink & the zoo.



So, here is the list of things that are to be done. Hopefully I will have after shots. I am not EVEN taking before photos! lol
Kitchen:
* Use old trash bag box to put grocery bags in them. I usually take them back to the grocery store at the end of the month to recycle them.
* Organize our tupperware ... get rid of all miss-matched items. I HATE it when we have too many lids or not enough lids, etc.
* Put in shelves in our cabinet that has a HUGE space and no organizing.
* Few other deep cleaning tasks

Living Room:
* Put DVDs in a binder (1/2 done) and get rid of tall 5 shelf, one drawer corner unit. Anyone want it? It is beautiful, just is too big for my small apartment.
* Get rid of the armoire
* Rearrange furniture.
* Steam clean carpets & couches
* Clean ceiling fan
* Replace clock batteries
* Few other misc deep cleaning tasks

Hall:
* Put away wet/dry vac
* Organize hall closet
* Clean wall and replace photos with new ones

Kid's Bathroom:
* Deep clean entire bathroom
* Turn it into the Serengeti. We are getting a toothbrush holder, tumbler, shower hooks, shower curtain, trash can, and toilet bowl brush holder. We will probably look at buying a few towels to match that theme. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10714464
* Replace the towel holder
* Install a hand attachment to the shower to bathe Johnny easier

Adella's Room:
* Organize closet, hanging up her dresses and putting in a shoe rack.
* Paint walls
* Hang net in corner and put up stuffed animals that we ARE keeping
* Clean carpet ... btw - those who haven't been informed, beer does take out oil paint from carpet!
* Steam clean carpet and mattress
* Clean ceiling fan

JJ's Room:
* Clean out closet and organize. Hand up suits and put in shoe rack
* Paint Walls
* Put up side rails on bunk bed
* Clean carpet (read above with Adella's room)
* Steam clean carpet and mattresses
* Fix dresser

* Fix window and clean out window sill.
* Replace all outlet covers
* Clean ceiling fan

Parent's Room:
* Clean out "his" closet
* Hang-up and organize clothes
* Clean out file cabinet and get rid of it.
* Put up shoe racks in closets and get rid of over the door organizer

Master Bath:
* Sift through all plastic drawer systems
* Organize items on the bathroom counter
* Buy a larger trashcan
* Buy a drawer to replace missing drawer
* Deep clean shower
* Buy new shower head

Patio:
* Sweep patio and hose off
* Buy and put up inflatable pool *fixed this line!*
* Fix fence and install gate
* Clean up garden

So, bring on the 2nd half of the year!
