Bad night

Oh last night was not one of my best at work. We started the night off in usual fashion, beginning the power washing. This would be the only smooth part of the night. I decided that since I was power-washing, I might as well do the wet vac since whoever used it last, failed to clean it. We opened the valve to release the water and the odor nearly knocked me on my butt. I was blown away.

After a few coughs and deep breathes, I cleaned the wet vac and everything else in that room, and then my co-worker was awesome and cleaned up the sludge that came out of the wet vac. I was gonna go looking for a shovel! So, this should have been the worst part of the night right, nope. We noticed after cleaning the room the drain didn't appear to be draining. *Sigh* So we started to clean the drain, and NOTHING worked. I had my hand and a cleaning utensil in the drain all they way to my mid-bicep. Blech. I could feel SOMETHING down there but couldn't get it up. Sarah stepped in and after SEVEN hours of fighting with the sludge and drain, got a blue (well it USED to be blue, it is now brownish green) ball out. We were so excited, that it didn't immediately dawn on us that the drain ..... STILL WASN'T draining. We fought for another 30 minutes and then gave up. We told Mark it needed fixed. We told him we tried running water in Special Care room, doing the drains in rows 1 & 2, drains in the relief room and the front playroom to attempt to get the clog unclogged but no avail. Oh, we even tried the stupid snake, nothing worked. My feet were wet and I don't know what liquid was in them, I just know that I reeked.

I am tired, and I am frustrated and I am VERY glad I am off work until the 3rd. I need a few days off after that. I don't want a stupid Good Job card ... I want a free daycamp coupon after that. NASTY. I about barfed 2-3 times and I have a pretty solid stomach regarding those things but the smell ... oh the smell. My nose is still upset. My friend posted a Latin phrase on her Facebook a few days ago: Isto Pensitaris (sp?) in which the response is ...

No where NEAR enough!
