Exciting Day!

Several exciting things occurred today! The first was Donuts with Dads. Jeremy was so excited to be able to make it this year that he was hoping the weather wouldn't have school canceled. If there was ANY highlight to having to be on vacation this week, it was to not have to rush to be done in time to be there for his son. 2 years ago, when Peanut was in Kindergarten, Jeremy was working in Independence and had no way to make it back in time. This year was different, even if he was working, he would have been able to make it. Bullfrog was ecstatic. However, not as ecstatic as having donuts!! Tell me this face doesn't just say "I'm in HEAVEN!"

Then this afternoon, for the first time since Friday night, Johnny got to go for a car ride. He was going CRAZY! It was SO cold outside but I couldn't resist his cute little beg for the window to be open. He was SO happy to be able to stick his head out and look for his little girl!

Finally, grade cards came home. Both my kids have improved academically this quarter. Bullfrog is now above his grade level in ALL aspects of reading (which they knew before hand but didn't test on everything so couldn't score him higher yet). He is also excelling in math. Peanut is improving her word fluency and she is still VERY good in math. I am very proud of my little ones!
