Success/Failure

Well, today was a mixture of success and failure.Failure - lost a pound in the past 2 weeks despite all my deliciously fattening foods I have been baking. Crazy! I am blaming the fact we haven't had the money to eat the bazillion calorie food offered at ANY fast food or restaurant joint.

Success - got to HyVee and purchased 10 Larry's potatoes at 77 cents a piece and then got a package of chicken quarters for 39 cents a pound (paid $1.00).

Failure - went to Target to check out sales but my legs hurt and baby kept rotating making me sick to my stomach.

Success - tried a new dinner and had a GREAT success. It is a Hawaiian dish called Loco Moco. You make rice and put a layer in a bowl, then top it with a cooked hamburger, topped with a fried egg and smothered in brown gravy. Sounds HORRID but it tastes SO good. Oh yeah, check the steam coming off that dish!!
