Jeremy has been working to get into school and we were waiting on securing a loan. Jeremy was only 15 points shy of having enough credit to secure a full school loan without a co-signer. When we couldn't secure a co-signer, we decided to forgo getting into school during the day and go at night. We just needed to secure a small loan to put a down payment on that, IF Jeremy could get approval from the board at the school. When he did, he called the bank and we went ahead with the loan. They also re-financed our auto loan so we are now paying less for our car loan AND signature loan than we were for our original car loan!! So, where does that come into play for this post? Well, Peanut has been begging for weeks for me to reconsider my decision to pull them from Maize and put them back in Crestview. I have to admit, there has been pretty much a 180 in both of my children since joining Homeschool Hookup. So, when they agreed to sign a contract agreeing to do school work and not fight me throughout the day (with the breaking of contract leading to re-enrollment in Crestview), we succumbed. We are going with a different curriculum choice for Peanut to see if it helps at all. If not, we will opt to mix and match curriculum making sure we cover everything and then just pay to have the her take state assessments to make sure she is on track. So, we will be adding that to the list of things occurring this fall. I have a large group who has all offered to help out after I have my baby to keep us all going and making it work. I LOVE my support system and not sure where I would be without them!
So, back to the game! Maize decided to again to go go a T-Bones game but we sat in a different section this time. The sun was not to our backs, but rather in our face! Luckily it was a later evening game and the sun went down quickly. The T-Bones won the game by shutting out the Diablos 8-0! *they swept the Diablos by winning both the day before and the day after*

When it kept slipping over her eyes, she turned it around backwards!
The game was awesome once the sun dropped so we could see ... and it cooled down a little!
