{PSA} From Bloggers to Facebook Fanatics

I RARELY share recipes on FB if it contains anything more than a photo and a link. It is not that I do not like the food, it is just that I am a blogger. Being a blogger is NOT easy work. We work VERY hard to secure sponsors and use Google Ads to make money. Sponsors are not going to want to buy ad space OR offer us cool things to review and offer to your viewers if our hard work is plastered on Facebook without proper citation.

In all reality, this is no better than plagiarizing a book. Just because you don't know what book it came from, or online site, does not mean that it isn't being stolen. Same with the graphics. Make sure you cite any graphics you use and be sure to only use graphics free for public domain or non-profit.

Today, I was exhausted and I shared something for Jeremy to grab for ingredients. In fact, I was so tired that I didn't even change it to being on his wall only. I normally go back through and delete them later and repost as public when they are properly cited and the recipe is removed. I STRONGLY suggest you do the same. You are hurting us that are doing the hard work by either typing the words, baking the food, tweaking the recipes, creating the graphics, taking the photos, and so on!

I don't go stealing your work ... don't steal ours!

PUBLIC DOMAIN GRAPHIC - STOP STEALING!!
