I love that today is 1/4/14

I have no problems admitting that I am a nerd. I love when things end on a 0 or a 5. I like even numbers, but my favorite number is 7. I love dates that have a pattern (which is why I purchased my old phone number). The date just made today even better.

The day started with Jeremy taking Peanut to her audition for Sound of Music. She practiced for days and while she did not get a role, she had a great time auditioning. There were a TON of people there and she just did her best.

Later in the evening, our friend came over to watch the kids while Jeremy and I got to enjoy the company of adults. It was his company Christmas party that was moved due to the illness of the CEO. Since it was at his penthouse ... we had no problems with the date change. The weather could have been better, but the view of the Plaza Lights was absolutely stunning!

To end the night, Peanut sent me a picture letting me know she pulled her tooth out. She was so proud of herself, and it made me smile. What a great 1/4/14.
