I am sure most people say that though, because UPS men bring packages! Well, as a blogger, health coach, and an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay, FedEx and UPS come and visit me often. This week was no exception! I had placed an order with Mary Kay at the end of the month and it was SO exciting to finally have all my supplies come.

I can now clean my face twice a day and make sure it is clean and protected. I purchased the Mary Kay
TimeWise Combo/Oil Skin and the Mary Kay
Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover. I used to use the
normal/dry, but apparently my skin has changed over the years.
I also purchased some items to complete my everyday look. I already had foundation, brow pencil, and mascara. I completely FORGOT the eye liner (drat), but got
blush,
lipstick,
eye shadow,
translucent powder,
highlighter pen, and
finishing spray. To make my life easier, I purchased the
brush collection as well.

I also decided to try out the new
Honeydew Satin Hands set. It smells so fresh and matches my summer mood!

Finally, because I love myself AND it is a great price, I purchased the
Mary Kay travel bag to keep everything organized. Honestly, it is to keep my little girls out of my makeup since they are hell bent on looking pretty too. (Today, Monkey went as far as watching YouTube videos on makeup application. Gonna have to watch that one!)

Having worked for Revlon for more than six years, I know a great deal about cosmetics. The thing that most surprised me was that make-up is recession-proof. No matter what goes on in the economy, women will pay whatever it takes to look and feel their best. I was proud to share part in this industry and your enthusiasm over the Mary Kay products was a pleasant reminder.
