Million Dollar Question today is ....

The writing prompt today from BlogHer's NaBloPoMo November 2014 is:

Do you consider yourself a professional blogger?

So, do I consider myself a professional blogger? Yes, yes I do. While I may not be earning as much as other bloggers who can snag a thousand dollars for a sponsored post, I do have the utmost respect for my blogging. I used to just get on and write when I felt like it, but now I have started to tailor what I write about and what I am passionate about. There are a few ways to know if you fall into the professional blogging category. Here are my responses to them.

It is a challenge!

I have been sitting at home, frustrated with the fact that I have a TON of ideas for novels running around in my head. I have limited amounts of time to sit and type, but it only takes me about an hour to write 1,000 words that I have to research. Edits and proofreading take a lot longer. So, why can't I get a book done? It comes down to me!

Zoinks! It has been a few days

I try to make sure I have something to say every couple days at least. I have some projects I am working on and time just slipped past. This weekend was really cool, however. I caught a Sit & Stand on Freecycle and happened to be the first responder. Woot! I cannot wait to use it instead of our long double stroller.

NaNoWriMo anyone?

October is coming to a close quite quickly. I have planned to participate in NaNoWriMo again this year, and it being the 28th of October has me freaking out! I do not have an outline, or even a thought on what I want to write about. Time to go scour Tumblr to see if I can get any ideas from pictures.

I am a writer

For those who are unaware, I am a freelance writer. I am very good at my job and I enjoy it a lot! I am sure my mother chuckles daily knowing that English and grammar were my weakest areas in school. This is a testimony to those who ever feel like they cannot do something because they failed in their education.
