Yesterday

I am sorry y'all, but I didn't take the camera. We went to the Debbie Howard's Gym in Olathe, KS yesterday AM but I completely forgot the camera. What can I say, I got off work at 6am and we were at the gym by 9:30am.



The kids had a blast for the 2 hours we were there and Bullfrog was bartering for more time. They had several things from soft gym stuff to gymnastics. Debbie, the owner of the gym, also spent some time talking with me and helping me figure out where to put Peanut this fall. Her daughter was a KSU Cheerleader and was engaged to Terrance Newman so she won my heart with the ties to KSU. Peanut saw the KSU cheerleading outfit and wants to go back. Debbie was more interested in finding us a good studio close to us which I greatly appreciated.

I then went home and slept until about 4pm as I hadn't slept all day. That gave me about 4 hours total of sleep. I got a panic call from work though because they were short handed and I have a uniform. I went in at 6pm and worked until 6am this morning as I was already for the overnight. Normally wouldn't be an issue, but I hadn't slept much at all so I was EXHAUSTED. The kids were magnificent today though, and let me sleep until 2pm, so I now have about 6 1/2 hours of sleep in me. I also told them that if they told me by tonight, I was willing to work another 12 hour shift this week if they needed it. So they are going to try to move someone around because the only day they are short handed is on Friday when I am going to be out of town. I don't mind working the 12 hours, as long as I get sleep first!

My tickets for Death Cab for Cutie came in the mail yesterday as well. So they are now in a safe place for next weekend's concert. We got part of our stimulus check that we didn't think we were to get any of and my A/C was also fixed yesterday. So with the BEAUTIFUL weather, I think this is going to be a good week!
