Babyproofing doesn't always work

Well, I officially have 2 children that are way too smart. They have officially learned how to crack all of the babyproofing methods we had. Covers for the outlets, locks on the fridge (yeah, that one lasted about a day), cabinet locks, baby gates, and door knob covers. We have resorted to just making sure everything that is important is put out of reach, except that only works 1/2 the time since they have learned how to climb or use methods to get what they want. Remarkable. So brace yourself for what I was presented with today. Now, mind you, there are 2 parents at home this week and somehow this STILL slipped by both of us.

Yep, he got a hold of the scissors. Now, he actually only cut a little snip out of his hair on the front of his head, but I had to shave the entire head because it was all the way to the scalp. We are waiting for the hair to grow out. Even though he is smiling in this last photo, he will state he misses his hair, he will never cut it himself again, and will constantly touch his head and have his eyes go sad. What a hard way for him to learn this lesson, however, better him than Peanut!
