Been a few days I know

This week has been a whirlwind. From super cleaning at work, to losing a cell phone, to finding it again, and then there was my work schedule. We also finally got our a/c back on Tuesday afternoon after not having it since the Wednesday before Memorial Day. It was a pain to get them to do anything and then it was a pain to get them to follow up. I felt like Tami and the stupid black mold!


What an obstacle.
At work we had visitors come on Tuesday morning (corporate) so my boss had Andrew and I super clean as much as we could. So we did on Monday night. I sat for a total of an hour and a half, but that was 3 breaks. It was crazy, but the place looked great. So the rest of the week I have been super exhausted cause I didn't sleep well those days.

Yesterday Jeremy thought he lost his phone for good which of course really bummed me out because I figured replacing it meant canceling things for the kids. So I prayed that he would be able to find it so that we wouldn't have to buy a new one. Sure enough, he calls me around 1pm today and says his phone turned up at work. WHEW! Oceans of Fun tickets and Thomas the Train are back on.

Which is nice because we are cancelling our trip to see Streetside this weekend so I can work. Which brings me to my new schedule. According to my boss as of this morning, unless I am out of town, I will be working Saturdays. Giving me 5 days of work and 5 1/2 hours of overtime. Unless she can swing it somehow to be 45 1/2 hrs of regular pay. (Doubt it though, since I am not a salaried worker. Either way, I will be getting a bigger paycheck. Meaning I can get a second account open here real soon to stash away some money and feel better about our cushion. So if I am not on as much, that is why.
