I am mad at myself

I can NOT believe I forgot my camera TWO days in a row. UGH. Okay, so Friday night we got to go celebrate my Mother's Day gift by going to the first Buzz Under the Stars. I debated on taking the camera so I think this may be why I forgot to take it. I charged the batteries and had an empty SD card and everything.


We watched Morning Benders (from CA and were good), Kooks (UK - really good), Rogue Wave (CA - BAD BAD, all their songs sound the same. Gore said it best when he said they are technically very good, but nothing sounds original), and then MY band Death Cab for Cutie (Seattle, WA). I LOOOOVE Death Cab. Last year we went and saw the Killers for Jer and this concert was for me. We aren't too excited about the next concert so we will sit it out. It is Gnarls Barkley and the Black Keys (don't know them, I don't think). Anyway, no pictures of the concert. Not one. *sigh*
THEN, THEN, I take my kids to the Annual KidsFest in Shawnee and they are there for about 2 hours. Peanut and Bullfrog both participated in the yoga demonstration, but Peanut had the teacher shocked at how much she knew. She is willing to work with me to find a time to get Adella in a class. At Wonderscope they are only $5 a week, so not too shabby. But yeah, no pictures of them sitting and eating their free food, painting pictures, doing yoga, or playing in the gigantic moon bounce. Even Bullfrog went in by himself this time AND went down the slide. AUGH.

Totally kicking myself. I tell ya, there is a reason I have that camera in my purse. You just never know when you need it. However, one really good thing happened on Friday. I went shopping for a new pair of khaki's for work, and I have dropped a size. WHOO HOO!

Also today, one of our neighbors was moving out and he was going to toss (yeah, throw away, I was shocked) a working exercise bike. I stepped in and now I feel great. I did 20 minutes on the bike today and felt completely out of shape but at least I am trying.

Still waiting on the a/c to be fixed, but supposedly that occurs Monday. We have enough freon to last 36 hours so we turned it on at midnight this morning and are hoping it lasts the 36 hours. There were about 15 leaks on the outside unit and inside unit combined. We are getting a whole new unit.
If you can't reach me over the next few days, it is because I will be working 5 nights in a row. At least it isn't the 6 I did during the construction. That last day of work was killer.
