Been a long week

I think pretty much anything that could go wrong, is going wrong this week. I have slept for a whole 2 hours and 15 minutes today and it is because of my anxieties and stresses. I just can't believe that I am again, letting stress affect me this much. *sigh* I am not surprised, just frustrated. There is a lot going on at work that is eating at me and I can't wait until the 18th when I can find out if my new psychiatrist thinks psychotherapy will be of assistance. I know it helped a lot back when I was in college, so I am kind of secretly hoping they will say yes because then the insurance pays for it. Today is the behavior study evaluation for both Bullfrog and Peanut at the house. I have done extensive cleaning, but the house isn't perfect and of course that is bugging me as well. I just have to admit that I am human and can only do so much as a working mother. The kids really cleaned their room last night so they got extra quarters and got to stay up an extra hour so that really hit home with them to know. So now I think it might be useful to have them clean their walls because they are seeing how much work it is to keep cleaning their room after they get destructive. We will see if it helps because I am starting to run low on ideas. HOWEVER, I have noticed that the amount of the allowance they end up getting at the end of the week is increasing. The first week it was under $2 for each child. Peanut starts with $5 in quarters ($1 for each year) and Bullfrog starts with $3. Last week Peanut ended up with $4 and Bullfrog had $3 so they are getting better. I am hoping that it continues to get better as this past week has been much easier on the family. If they keep up the trend I am obviously going to start loosening the reigns on things they have to do in order to get to do other things.
Anyway, I am off to get the kids breakfast, get some stuff done around the house, wait for a phone call and then wait for the woman to do the evaluation.
