Past few days

Well, I knew I was going to be busy this week, but it has been kind of an up and down business. On Monday I went to work and everything was normal. I got off work and an hour later, my boss called me asking if I would be willing to come in about 2 hours early on Wednesday. I was all over that. Extra cash baby!!! Anyway, so I worked Wednesday and pretty much everything was going great after I talked to my boss and my co-worker about making the schedule I have this week permanent. I am well rested and my kids are behaving better as I have a day off every other day during the week to recoop. Then Thursday morning happened. Ugh. I was getting ready to put a dog back in her room (basically like a kennel room with those metal latches), and her sibling, who is usually walking with her, decided she wanted to come out and go be walked. So she came out as I was standing up after taking the leash off the other dog. The side of my forehead came in contact quite quickly with the metal latch. OOOOH the agony! Tylenol isn't really kicking the pain much and I still have some pain moving my eye in different directions because the bruise is so deep. I never lost consciousness and my eyes are the same dilation. I ran through all my general info with my co-worker just to make sure everything was fine. I just saw stars for a few hours. So now I sit with this nasty bruise on my head and a dull ache. Peanut tells the story to everyone, but instead of calling the dog Sadie... she keeps messing up and calling her Silly which of course just REALLY tops the entire incident. Both children were so upset that I got hurt, they kept checking on me. Now, if they were only so upset they would clean their room ....
Anyway, other than me working tonight (the 4th) with a ton of dogs, nothing much is up. I will try to post an update of this weekend on Monday or Tuesday. Probably Tuesday .. lol since I won't be working.
