Talked to boss today

And it was confirmed that if I do want to look at progressing in the company, I will need to be available for opening or mid. So we are looking at maybe making 2 days available for an opening or mid and then we would be looking at about $150/week for a nanny. Obviously we would have to wait until the beginning of the year before hiring anyone. We wouldn't see any profit from my job if we started before then. We shall see what we see when that time occurs.

It was, however, very nice to have bosslady back from vacation. It is very nice to have someone there who doesn't doubt my abilities to do things. I screwed up last week once and after getting some ego boosts tonight, it doesn't bug me anymore. I have one customer who called me a dog whisperer. HA. If she only knew. lol. I just have a few dogs that I REALLY get along with and it shows. I never seem to have issues with them. But then again, I absolutely love being with animals so it makes being with the animals and communicating with them much easier. Many of the dogs aren't sure how to act when mommy and daddy are away and it is our job to teach them that. The problems arise when employees don't have the willingness to work with the animals and teach them. It never ceases to amaze me that people don't realize that working in a doggy day care & boarding facility is more than just petting and playing with the animals. It is like saying that working in a children's day care is simply spending time with children. It isn't just that easy.
