Well, unfortunately I can't give pictures for a couple of my projects as they are gifts, nor can I speak as to what I am giving. But I did get some work on my mother in laws present, or at least one of her presents. The kids have yet to buy their gift for her but my main gift is in the mail (or hopefully it is).
It is the first time I have stitched in weeks. I am fighting the lack of a stitching bug. All my free time is spent on the house, checking email or sleeping. I was hoping that working the day shift would make me more rested so I could spend more time on the stitching projects but it hasn't turned out that way.
I am about to go through everything in my house and just start tossing things. We are beginning to accumulate stuff and it is getting on my last nerve. My house is a wreck ... again. I was so close to having it organized and then I switched to day shift. Jeremy being exhausted from the change in work schedule, and me either working or taking kids to events has left both of us without the desire to touch the house. Maybe that is why my stitching bug is awol. I can't stitch where my mind can't stop thinking of everything I need to do. The kids are beginning to get back into their chores but for awhile there they didn't care about the money! Peanut is getting close to having the ability to buying a scooter she wants really bad. I am thinking about taking a vacation at work (would only be 4 day vacation) to completely work on the house. I was hoping to do it when Peanut was on break from school but it my blackout dates at work are the same as her winter break. *sigh* So, it looks like I will at least have to take her to and from school while on my vacation. We shall see what we can do about finding the perfect time for vacation.
