Step forward - having more fun at work by going back to the old ways, forcing seniors to do their job while the grunts do theirs. *now, I am very sore again as I haven't had to work hard for quite awhile and I am fighting the urge not to blame others for me not being promoted - right now I feel that people trying to make sure I knew everything and could handle everything had me standing around and not showing that I could do the work*
Step forward - Kids are going to Amy's less and hopefully not at all after a few weeks when everything that is new settles down.
Step back - Peanut's temper is increasing and it has gotten her in red twice in the last 2 days. I am not sure what sparks it but it is on a very short fuse right now. I don't even know how to talk to her about it either because she doesn't want to listen or care. I might try taking them to the park tomorrow but it depends on how Peanut does in school tomorrow.
Things I have learned:
1. 6 year olds love to eat breakfast at school, even if it is the same thing they eat at home.
2. It is hard to blow up a inflated punching bag when you have a 4 yr old imitating your face.
Your 2 lessons learned crack me up!
