Well, got the whole story on today's red

K's dad and I held an investigation and it ended with 2 girls in trouble. Mine for not going to a teacher for help and his for not sharing and then telling others what to do. So, what happened today, actually? Peanut wanted to swing on the swings but K and O didn't want to swing by her. She stomped off and said she wasn't going to be their friend anymore. Then they went in the classroom and it was time for centers and Peanut went to the listening center. K chose to go to her and told her it was time to be done. Peanut went off and threw a book. She got in red and K wasn't reprimanded so that frustrated Peanut more. Steve and I decided it is probably time for the two girls to spend some time apart. Obviously the past few weeks of her going over to K's house a lot and O hanging out with them more has spilled into problems at school. I am waiting to hear back from Mrs. Lincoln. I have already apologized to Peanut because she told me exactly what happened but it didn't match Mrs. Lincoln had told me what she saw happen. I told Peanut that I didn't believe her at first because she doesn't like to tell the truth about what happens. She said but I DID tell the truth. I tried to explain to her that if you don't tell the truth a lot, then people tend not to believe you over someone else. *sigh* Peanut's mood changed immensely after I told her that Steve told me the same story she did and she was allowed to have her candy back. Girls ... I swear.
