First, here is Bullfrog's new Sunday outfit. Doesn't he look ADORABLE?! He now has a belt to go with that outfit so his pants won't nearly fall off!
Okay so yesterday I was asked by a coworker to cover her shift today. After getting approval from my babysitter, I decided to go ahead and work. I had to get up at 5:30am (a little under 2 hours before I am used to) and get the kids up by 6:15am (an hour before they are used to getting up) to get to the sitter's by 6:30am and get me to work by 7am. The kids handled the time change pretty good until this evening when they were doing everything they could to stay awake. I worked until 3pm and actually had a pretty uneventful day at work (until the dog fight 2 minutes after I clocked out but I was right there to be able to jump in and help break up).
I came home, jumped in the shower, and drove to the spa for a 75 minute facial. Whoo hoo. Eye brows waxed, face massage, and full cleanse. My skin feels so soft again. I basically slept most of the time, the rest of the time, I spent doing my job ... promoting my job! And yes, just in case you were wondering, I have a new possible candidate. We are open late on the weekends so she can actually let her dogs play on Saturdays when she works instead of leaving them at home.
After the very relaxing facial, I went home and finished getting the house ready for the missionaries to come over. We watched the video "The Restoration," bore our testimonies, talked about some creative ways to have Family Home Evening with young kids, and then Peanut said the prayer. After they left, Bullfrog picked a page in his new Book of Mormon to have me read, Peanut picked a page out of the Bible for me to read, and then Peanut read about 3 verses of the 23rd Psalm.
The kids got candy tonight because Peanut was able to successfully read all but 2 of her sight words. Those 2 she sat and said over and over again to attempt to remember what they look and sound like. We will see if she remembers them in the AM.
So what is my plan for tomorrow? Take Peanut to school, clean out the van, box up a few of the movies that aren't watched, pick up Peanut, go to work. I then have to get everything ready to board Johnny on Saturday.
