I am back online

I am feeling much better today. I had surgery on Thursday and was in loads of pain recovering from that. They didn't really find much in the diagnostic laparoscopy that they did but I will get a better feel of what they found next week at my follow-up. The doctor talked to Jer and he doesn't really care about the medical field so much of it didn't make any sense to him. It was one time I wished my sister was there so she could tell me what they found. He had babies to deliver so there wasn't an ability to wait around until I came out of recovery to talk to me. The pain is still there occasionally but not NEARLY as bad. I can kill it with Aleve if I even need to take a pain pill. I do know that my next stop will be with a gastroenterologist. So for now, I document everything I eat and drink, as well as how many hours I sleep and how I am feeling each day for a few weeks. That way I have some background information when I do go in.The other area that causes pain in the lower left pelvic is the left side of the colon.

So, where am I on the house? I have a pool but no tarp for it. We already have to buy a patch for it because some how we have 4 small puncture holes in the very top ring of the pool. It isn't a huge thing, the kids still play in it. It just holds 100 gallons instead of 200. We still have a lot of stuff to get off the patio.
The living room:
* Organized dvds and attempting to sell corner shelf unit.
* Have one couch completely cleaned off
Kitchen:
* Garbage disposal fixed
* Bought a new broom and Swiffer WetJet.
* I have decided that I am going to invest in the new Rubbermaid Easy Find lids and then get rid of ALL our other plastic containers. This should take care of our issues with container/lid frustrations.
Kids Bath:
* Floor picked up
* I still have to clean the counter but I am going to wait until after our maintenance man looks at our sink to tell us if it is going to need to be replaced. I still have the toilet to clean and all of the bathroom stuff to buy.
Kids Rooms:
* Bought party lights for Peanut's closet and Bullfrog's recessed light for "night lights"
* Bought sheets for their beds
* Bought light switch plates for both rooms
* Bought pulls for all the dressers!
* Bought outlet covers to replace broken ones.
Our Room:
* Took out 3 bags of trash .. yeah our room was BAD
* Bought some hangers ... still need to buy several more.
* Fixed the light fixture in my closet but had a set back when my shelf secured into drywall fell. This means I will have to buy a shelving system sooner than planned. I will call the Container Store in August and order on the phone.
* ALL the laundry has been caught up. Still need to fold and put away a couple loads but it is all clean. AND Jer gets to take ALL his uniforms to work in a couple weeks to switch them out for the new uniform. This excites me GREATLY!

I think considering all my health woes and stresses over the last few weeks, I have gotten a lot accomplished. Tomorrow we go to the Berry Patch in Cleveland, MO to let the kids burn energy. I was hoping to maybe change the day to today but yesterday Bullfrog came home with a very mild burn on his shoulders and I wanted him to be able to rest and recover today.
