Well, after today ...

I at least know that my diet is part of my pain problem. I have been REALLY good with my new diet but today I got a cookie craving so I splurged and made 2 types of cookies. I was in PAIN this evening about 4 hours later. Sucked big time. I am sure stress also plays a role but I think my diet is going to be the make it or break it. So I plan on seeing a gastroenterologist just to be able to figure out what my trigger foods are.

So, today was a GREAT day on other levels. We left the house at 8am to go berry picking at The Berry Patch in Cleveland, MO. It is at 225th & State Line Rd for those in the KC Metro. It was a BEAUTIFUL day for berry picking. We were there from 9am to 11:30am. The kids hung out with one of their good friends (my good friend's children), Nathan & Emma. They also rode the train and Bullfrog actually made the train ride without a melt down to start!

After we got home, we made blueberry waffles and had lunch. Then the kids went to play in the pool for the last time until sometime next week when the sun comes back out of hiding. I then made oatmeal fudge (as my mother calls it "no bake cookies with nasty peanut butter") and sugar cookies. The kids were in heaven. They are currently camping out in the living room! I don't have a tent for them but they are making do.
