Sorry if this post offends anyone, but I just GOTTA

Okay, so I switched back to overnights to regain the joy in my life, destress, and see my kids more. It was one of the best decisions I have made in awhile. So tonight my shift was with a good friend, Sarah. I must tell you though, when I work with her, there is no need for crunches in my workout as we laugh so hard my abs KILL me by the end of the night.

The beginning of the end for us tonight:

I was doing the room prep when I noticed some dogs getting ready to board in rooms we are using to feed dogs that must be seperated. Since we are lower on dog counts right now, it is just easier to change the room the dog that is checking into instead of cleaning it and letting the dog check in. So, I went to change one of the rooms and that is when I spotted the first wierd thing of the night. We have 2 dogs checking in ... but they are the same dog. The pet parent's first name is the same (well Joe for one and Joseph for the other) but their last name is spelled differently ... by one letter. The home phone is the same for both but the address is different. The way I knew it was the same dog ... the spelling of the name of the dog is SO bizarre that there is no way that two males with the first name Joe could have a dog named Isaac but spelled in this bizarre fashion. I will not put the spelling here as someone may know this person and I don't want that on the internet. One of the dogs even has a history of booking at PetSmart but in the grooming department and not the hotel. Here is the kicker ... the part that sent Sarah & I over the edge .... the SAME employee made BOTH reservations! Say WHAT?! We laughed and laughed. So I prepped the room that isn't currently being used and then wrote a note to our hotel manager explaining the situation. *giggling while writing mind you*

Then ... at midnight (cause I guess people like to make reservations at midnight), a person calls back and I answer PetSmart Security. This lady says I talked to a person earlier this evening about possibly bringing my two cats. I said okay and she then says she will be in around 8-8:30am with the two cats and their shots. She didn't tell me her name, or the person she originally talked to so I prepped a cat room and left a note for our hotel manager. Again, giggling. Our manager asked if I made the reservation, I told him I would have loved to, IF the woman had left any information. Cracked me up.

Finally ... this is the part where people will either LAUGH or they will be offended. I am sorry but I have worked with animals for a VERY long time and I am also a female. I LAUGH at off colored things and this is DEFINITLY off-colored.

Sarah asked me to load her the small dogs and she would load me the large. I said that was fine. I went to grab the second to last 2 small dogs and as I was taking the dog out of his room, I smelled a foul odor. Looked down and sure enough, he had pooped in his room before I had a chance to get him into the playroom. So, how is this funny? You tell me:
