My daughter has started a blog and it is really working great. The first paragraph is her telling me what she did during the day and what to write. She watches me write the sentences as she tells me what to write. Then after that, she writes 2-4 sentences by sounding out the words and writing what she hears. This is to work on her breaking down the words. She successfully read a book today without my assistance at all, so I am VERY grateful to the outreach teacher at Antioch Library for the idea as it is working extremely well. She enjoys having her own blog too. She will update it in the evening so late evening or morning is the best time to check the blog. We are hoping to update it daily as it gets her reading and excited to learn. Here is a picture of her working on her blog!
