Adella's Birthday

My baby girl turned 7 years old yesterday. I can not believe that it has been 7 years since I went through the 15 hours of labor, with it stopping and starting, and all the stress. She is a difficult child but I love her more than I could possibly imagine. I have spent a lot of time over the past week looking at pictures over the past few years. I can't believe how much she has grown and how smart she is.

Yesterday was the family party and her friend party is next Saturday at Skate World. We started the afternoon off eating at Jack Stack BBQ. After a good long wait for a table, we had great service and great food and they brought out a MONSTER brownie and ice cream for Peanut. She finally caved and shared with everyone. *and I was a good mommy and did not cave and try some no matter how badly I wanted some!*

We then took off to an unknown destination for Peanut (well *I* knew but she didn't). When we pulled into the parking lot of Skate World she was so confused. It was great. Went inside and ordered her skates, which we will pick up tonight as long as all goes well. I couldn't take more pictures there because she then had a birthday girl meltdown because we weren't skating and she wasn't getting her skates that day.

However, the meltdown was very short-lived. We then were off to Tami's to open gifts and eat a ColdStone Creamery cake (again I was a good mommy and didn't eat any).

Later that evening, while we were at home, Jer's father and his wife came over with their presents for Peanut. She was ecstatic ... more clothes! She opted to wear one of the outfits she got from them for school today. We thought it was more than appropriate ... Little Miss Chatterbox. HA HA HA HA!!!
