Late night post

Normally I don't post this late at night but it was 4-H tonight and I just have to get this off my chest.
I am SO proud of my little girl tonight. The talk tonight was Parliamentary Procedure Trail Mix and the club got to take part in the talk by learning how to make motions and vote on them while making trail mix. Peanut wanted to make a motion but when she messed up, she went silent. So I sat beside her and quietly whispered how to word it in her ear and she loudly repeated me. I was SO proud of her. So was everyone else in the club. She felt good about making the motion. I didn't want to later tell her she had to vote for it if she made the motion (just as if you second it, you have to vote for it) because she had gotten so far. I don't know which made me happier, the fact she was taking part in the meeting or the fact she was listening to the meeting!

We had a slightly different group of gals going with us tonight. K was supposed to go with her father but opted to watch movies instead. Her loss. Tonight was an awesome night. I ended up picking up G and her sister wanted to come too so she hopped right on in. We were glad to have her. She is a sweetie. Then we had Josie again tonight who also started taking part in the voting process. Loads of fun.

Bullfrog had his appointment with the new asthma/allergy specialist and we have learned he is allergic to quite a few things and also have a better asthma plan. We have some books to read and then we will be going back in a few weeks to start lessons on how to handle asthma and allergies in the best way possible. The biggest bummer for him is that he is allergic to cats. He isn't extremely allergic but enough that he can't have prolonged exposure to them. He is also allergic to most molds, sugar maple tree pollen, ragweed, and timothy grass. Pretty hard to take for a little boy. We will still let him play hard outside, just give him a bath when he comes in. We are looking at issues from March to June and then again in the fall. We will see what comes of my appointment next week when I get a skin test run. NOT looking forward to that at all.

Well, it is way late and I am tired so I am going to cut this off and talk more tomorrow. Have lunch with a friend and then work at night.
