Where's the pause button?

How about a button so we can see into the future. I am not one who likes to admit they have faults, but I do have one fault that I readily admit to ... I panic, easily! Just after my post last week, things changed at work. It is AMAZING how fast things change. Us employees are NOT happy with the decision that Corporate America has made and people are responding differently. I am opting to wait it out but it isn't lessening the fear I have that not everything will work out. We are all waiting to see more of what happens next month before we start telling our good friends who are customers because they know we pull special deals with dogs we love! Sorry, we try not to have favorites but we do. lol.
Jer's work is starting to wind down for the school year just as my job is looking at making hour cuts. We are just hoping that we won't have to do anything drastic at the end of May. We have made a few cuts already and we have a few more in the works. By the end of May, we will have cut close to $100/mo out of our budget. I think we will be fine, it is just my anxiety of not being able to do my budget 6 months in advance that is freaking me out. I have been taught to run a budget several months in advance so you have an idea of when you need money and for what. It has been working great for us. The idea of not being able to do my normal routine scares me.

I am now watching an 18 month old on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and she is a DOLL. She LOVES Bullfrog but I guess Bullfrog isn't into younger girls. Peanut, however, is in LOVE with her. They just ran off and played so well together. We have also made play dates for Tuesdays with a few friends from my work with young babies and children so we can all get out of the house. I am so glad this all worked out for us.

Tonight kids are going to a skate party and then to the sitters. Gonna try to hook up with a good friend while she's in town as well this weekend. Whew, so much going on.
