Heather:
- Finish degree. I have 193 credits so in a few weeks I will be calling up KSU Registrars to look into distance learning and/or correspondence classes. We will go from there.
- Be a better blogger. I am going to try to update my blog at least every other day. I blame FB status updates with my bad habit to update my blog!
- Look into buy a house. We are only going to START the process of looking at homes. We aren't expecting to move for probably a year, maybe two as we save up for a GOOD down payment. We figure with this being a first time process for us, we should take it slow and plan for a lot of time.
- Finish 2 cross-stitch projects. I have a TON of started projects and have let other "stuff" wallow me down and I haven't done much of anything on anything in awhile. I miss it and Peanut loves watching and learning.
Jeremy
- Help keep the house in better shape and take turns doing dinner. He does cook VERY well with recipes. :)
- Help out a bit more at the school as he gets done a little earlier in the day.
- Get back into running and Tae Bo with the kidlets. Hoping that exercising a bit more may help him fall asleep at night.
- Possibly get started again on webpage designing. We aren't sure about this one though.
Peanut
- Run a marathon
- Work harder at not talking or lying in school.
- Get more involved in 4-H.
Bullfrog
- Learn Tae Bo
- Read a chapter book
- Learn to ride a bike with no training wheels
I recommend *not* looking at homes until you have your down payment saved up. Otherwise, it's easy to come down with house fever and make a big mistake buying before you are ready.See my note on FB about the marathon.
ReplyDelete1. The first step we are currently doing is learning what else we need to do to qualify for a good loan. We applied 3 years ago and we had no credit. We are trying to find out if we have even done enough yet to qualify or what else we can do. The agent we will be working with has been with the family for YEARS so he knows what our pace is. That is, however, my biggest fear is to get all excited and screw up BIG time.2. Marathon - I am going to add a correction to this post cause I looked at that "marathon" thing more and it isn't want it says it is. I think Adella would be better off doing 5K's since she can already easily run 2.75 miles and starts to tire around the 3 mile mark. The "marathon" is only 1.2 miles the day of the race.
