Done with Winter!

Well, last night we started worrying about my son because he barely ate dinner, complained of a stomach ache and asked to go to bed. That is unlike him! Especially when there is dessert available!!

Well, this morning we checked him and he felt pretty warm and so we made the decision to just take him to the Take Care Clinic and get it checked out. He had been battling what we thought was a cold for almost a week and so we thought it just took a turn for the worse since he had been outside. Unfortunately, it never was a cold he was battling. He was diagnosed with a severe sinus infection and was on the verge of at least a single ear infection but both ear drums were bulging pretty badly. She was surprised his ears weren't in pain. So, he is on amoxicillin for 10 days, Robitussim 3x a day for at least 5 days, and breathing treatments in the afternoon and evening for at least 5 days. The Robitussim and breathing treatments are solely dependent on his coughs. Either way, he is feeling better but still sleepy off and on. The only bummer part was occupying 2 children (one sick and one not) for 2 hours while sitting in chairs at Walgreens!

Well, we decided that since there was no school tomorrow, Bullfrog wasn't contagious, and it hadn't been done for awhile ... we would let the kids camp out in the living room. Bentley is crashing in the small tent with them. If I knew it wouldn't wake them, I would grab a quick pic of them in the tent sleeping with the puppy. However, I do have a picture of the set up for bedtime at least. This is prior to 2 pillows, 3 blankets, 1 stuffed owl, 2 kids and one dog entering it!
