It is late ... been a long day

Today has been VERY long. We are in the process of de-cluttering our house in preparation for baby arrival. Jeremy is gaining strength in his ankle but is still limited on what he can do. We have sold the xBox and the games. We are now going to go through the movies that we don't watch a lot now that we have kids and will sell those. No need to keep them around.
My living room is slowly becoming more open. Which of course will be another bonus as I am preparing to home school at LEAST my daughter next year. Bullfrog has been begging to be taught at home for quite awhile, although he assures me he enjoys public school. Peanut understands that we are trying to do what is best for her since she seems to excel at home where there is structure and lack of distractions. I also can allow for more "fun" to be had as that seems to be lacking at schools. I think that is Peanut's biggest problem with school is she doesn't view it as a "fun" place. Jury is still out on what program, if any, we will use for her studies. I am leaning towards K12 and then supplementing it with computer programs that will continue their desire to learn. The other thing with K12 is it is a public school so she can still participate in everything just like she could in public school. That is VERY important for me. I want her to still be able to do band and choir, and preferably organized P.E. and music. We are going to read, study and pray until June to decide what we want to do. Especially with our dear son, Bullfrog. I am inclined to teach him at home as well since that is what he really wants, but I will do whatever is best for each child regardless of what is "wanted."

However, this afternoon it was ALL about wants. The weather was awesomely nice out so the kids wanted to play outside ... so they did. This put everyone in a great mood as there are HUGE piles of snow for them to climb on and play king/queen of the snow pile, and it also allowed Jeremy and I time to go through the house a bit. To show his good spirits, Bullfrog put on one of daddy's beard nets from work that was in the back of the van ... he was SUPER cute!!
