I am a terrible blogger. I should be good since I have about an hour to myself in the evenings now but I just never think about blogging when I am relaxing. I am writing for another blog now so I don't really have an excuse not to get over here and blog. So, tonight I sum up and then tomorrow, I will work on keeping up.
~ May - school ended. Attended Jiggle Jam at Crown Center
~ June - Peanut went to 4-H camp and I watched her friend a few days out of the month.
~ 1/2 half of July - started doing family meetings and family activities on Fridays. Preparing for the fair.
Today we went to the 2nd Annual Touch-a-Truck event at Overland Park Convention Center. This is one of the kids all time FAVORITE events. They get to jump into semi trucks, play on tractors, look in ambulances, see local artists, and much more. My good friend, Candy, with KCMetromoms always does a great job promoting this event. We brought food for Harvesters and then released the hounds ... I mean kids. ;) Had a really good day overall. Ate WAY too many high calorie foods so we will have to REALLY watch our numbers this week to end on a good note. Lots planned for this week so expect may pictures up on Facebook!
