I made the pattern for the kids' bean bag chairs this evening. I also got 13 of 24 triangular portion of the panels made and 8 of 12 rectangular portion. I still have 3 shirts to cut up and then I need to buy some fabric to go with the shirts. We are mulling over the possibility of having an inner lining to our bean bag chairs and a zipper closing. That way we can take the cover off and wash it. Adding a zipper wouldn't be that difficult and so it is just a matter of if we can make it easy to get the insides out.
The other big yay for me today was I discovered how to turn a flannel receiving blanket into a diaper. I treated it as a flat and performed origami on it. It was great knowing that I don't have to stress when we get low on diapers. I normally push it because I need someone to watch Monkey while I am rinsing diapers. Well, the flats allow me to easily make it until my husband gets home and can take Monkey.
Now off to get a little more sleep than last night .... I hope. It is a good thing babies are so gosh darn cute!
