My husband requested a few weeks ago to have a day with me and no kids for his birthday. I swung the deal and spent the day with him yesterday. We went to his two favorite restaurants, BD's Mongolian BBQ and Red Robin, and celebrated his birthday. Monkey, of course, could not stay overnight at grandpa's so we went to get her around eight in the evening.
Today I spent the entire day fighting with the kids to do their school work, trying to get an article written, and preparing for the rest of the week. We are spending the next few days and weeks praying to figure out if we are going to continue Peanut in home school or put her back in public. We also don't know if Bullfrog will be fine if Peanut goes back, or if he will also need to go back to school. Just a lot to think about and a lot to ponder.
For now, it is time to rest my brain and get some sleep.
