First ... remember that the giveaway ends TODAY. I am giving away a Hang-Up Home Organizer by Thirty-One. I also have a party going on and while purchasing is not a requirement of the giveaway ... more entries will be given to you if you do. The party, however, is open until the end of NEXT week so if you don't win the giveaway and want to purchase the organizer or something else, feel free to make a purchase afterwards. =)
Now, on to my insane week! It has been crazy weather lately and weather we normally get in June has hit. Unfortunately, we still do not have a/c. I went to talk to the management about it on Monday and the repairman came to start fixing on Monday. I had high hopes to having my a/c working by Monday afternoon, but this was not the case. Instead, we were told he would come back on Tuesday but I needed to be home. Cancelled all plans and stayed home ... of course spent the afternoon/evening glued to the TV and my phone awaiting updates from all family and friends in the Dallas/Ft Worth metro as they were plagued with tornado after tornado! No a/c repairman though, and none again today. So, after a phone call to the management again, he is supposed to come tomorrow. We are cancelling plans tomorrow so he BETTER show up.
Monkey's birthday is on Saturday and she will be turning 1. I can't believe it has been a year already! We won't be doing much on her birthday because it is Easter though, that is what the 14th will be for. Kid's do have an Easter egg hunt that morning and we are going to do something small for Monkey for lunch.
I also started a writing class on Tuesday nights to improve my writing. I am very excited to be able to further my writing career and see where it takes me. I am also finding a zen in sewing so I have decided to team up with a couple family members to create a small company called Bird Fluff. None of us are wanting this to be anything major because we all have very little free time to fill custom orders, but we want something to justify the fabric/yarn/etc purchase. As soon as it really takes off, expect a blog post. I am excited that Fluff Planet is willing to be working with us on this adventure and I will have a rag quilt done for their 2,000 fan auction/giveaway.
Tomorrow I will finish my post on the IOTM purchase I got from March from Fluff Planet (yup, I am a TAD behind schedule) and then Friday I will announce the winner of the giveaway! Have a great remainder of the week.
