One of my good friends is a consultant for Thirty-One and I have been trying to find ways to promote her business because I KNOW I can't be the only one out there that is able to benefit from this awesome company. They have great designs, the usefulness is limitless and each family can use the product in extremely different ways. So, we decided that I would pick one product, review it, and then get to offer a giveaway to you guys in addition to a party I am throwing.
I have been using the Hang-Up Home Organizer in Black Parisian Pop and am absolutely in love. I have been using it for only a couple weeks and so there are some things I want to change about it, but that is mainly placement in the house. First, the product
I am sure just looking at the picture you can completely understand why I would chose this as the one to review! What mother does not need this! I'll admit, it is still pretty bare. There are a few things that have been removed or left blank to protect my children's livelihood but I will fill those in.
~ Calendar section: I love this organizer that I got from Office Max when it was on clearance. It technically can hang on the fridge but I have 50 million other things hanging on my fridge and frankly, I need the space. So, this calendar is normally filled. I go on top and then each of my family members have a space with their weekly activities. While we use google's calendar ... I enjoy having this one quick look to see what might be going on for the week.
~ Note area: This is where I list my to do for the day. I can't tell you how many times I go in and out of my room so the best place for my to do list ... is on my door. Thirty-One includes a small dry erase marker so you don't even need to purchase one before using!
~ Clear Pockets: I have not decided what to use these for yet but I am leaning towards invitations and "save the date" papers. I have baby showers and birthday parties popping up like crazy so having all of the invitations in one place is helpful. I believe the large one will be used for a menu printable. Then I can use the dry erase marker again to fill it in each week.
~ Large Pockets: Oh these are my FAVORITE! The tabs are plastic and you can use the dry erase marker to tailor these to your specific needs. You can use them for tickets, bills, and more.
Do I have any cons to this organizer? Yes, I do.
It is very large and takes up a large amount of space on your wall. That, however, is the only downside I have found to this organizer. I am very glad I got a chance to use this and enjoy being able to use it for years to come.
On to the giveaway! I am offering an Hang-Up Home Organizer in YOUR favorite choice color. *this has been edited due to fans request* This is a $45 value prize!! There are several ways to enter the drawing but the first thing you need to do is comment on my blog post. Simple enough! I also have an online catalog party going on right now and you can get extra entries by purchasing something from the catalog party. The catalog party closes on the 13th of April so even if you don't have money now, you can still participate in the catalog party!
Hi Honey,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Rebekah, and I LOVE Thirty-One, and I LOVE your Idea !!
I will be purchasing one of these for my sister-in-law... She and my brother have been married 26 yrs (this week) and have Finally had their Prayers answered, in the way of a "FAMILY"... [ They are in the process of adopting a 5 & 6 yr old brother & sister out of the Maine Foster care System ]
To go from NO Children, to a 5 & 6 yr old, in just a few months time, is a Real Change in their Schedules & Routine... I think THIS organizer will be an AWESOME OPTION for them. OBVIOUSLY for it's organization aspect, but ALSO, they have just found that Sasha (5) has a Wheat, Dairy, & Egg White allergy... so will be Very Helpful in Transitioning diets/menu items & plans.
Very Nice to "MEET" you... Any Friend of Rebekah is a Friend of Mine !!
Irene
