Exhausted but WOW!

If I were smart ... I would be sleeping right now instead of blogging. However, I am still VERY excited about Jiggle Jam. Situations arose and my children were not able to take part in the celebration this year, but that did not mean I wasn't still going to volunteer!! Volunteering was SO much fun, I will be doing it again next year if plans will allow it! My shift was from 3pm to 5:30pm, however I got there early because I heard they were short on volunteers. I was able to catch a bit of Choo Choo Soul while I grabbed a quick lunch before heading to JJ's Birthday Tent. I LOVE Genevieve and DC with Choo Choo Soul and they did NOT disappoint. Candy, my dear friend from KC Metromoms & Mommypalooza, was given the wonderful opportunity to introduce the duo. What GREAT fun!

Of course, my life wasn't ALL Jiggle Jam (although wouldn't that be nice? Music, inflatables, face painting, birthday cookies, coloring, fountains to play in ....). Here are a couple pictures of my daily life as summer begins!

One of our local gas station/car wash locations celebrates teachers in May by offering a free basic car wash, free fountain, and ten cents off each gallon of gas. Well I found a free Wednesday to participate and the kids thoroughly enjoyed watching the van get washed!

Then, Monkey's imagination and intuitiveness continues to amaze us. She has figured out how to plug in USB cords, know how phones are to be used, how to get the milk she wants, and get onto daddy's chair (her favorite spot in the house). Well, yesterday she amazed us when she grabbed the eye dropper bottle from me and mimicked her sister applying toe nail polish. DEFINITELY my little girlie girl!
